A little more information

So i just got home from work about 30 minutes ago and decided to enter my next entry. I've been going through the list of candidates that I have for my 'Facebook Wedding' and I think that I have the one. The thing about her is that technically this will not be a Facebook wedding as I have known her for quite some years. So let's get to the back story.

The year was 1995 I believe. The song that all the kids were digging on was 'Beautiful Life' by Ace of Base. There was a young, bashful schoolboy named Tim. He wasn't the completely awesome cat that he has grown up to be over the years. Ok so now to the actual story. My younger brother and his girlfriend were going to a dance at Villa and her friend needed a date for the dance. So naturally my brother asked me to go with them. I wasn't really all that into dances at school. I really didn't hit up the dances at my high school dances until my Junior year I believe. I thought about it a little bit and still wasn't sure. So we decided to meet the girls at the only place where high school kids could hang out and not really get into too much trouble. That's right folks. We met them at the Millcreek Mall. So after hanging out for a little bit I agreed to go to the dance with them. I figured it couldn't be that bad of a time. There really wasn't too much expected of me other than to show up and look good. And I'm pretty good at both of them. So we ended up going to the dance and having a pretty good time. After the dance I figured it wasn't going to really turn into much. I thought that I was just a date for one night. But oh no I was wrong there kids. We ended up hanging out a couple times and then ended up dating. The next few months was a pretty awesome time. I neer really had an actual girlfriend before that so I was excited to have someone to spend some time with. It was a little tough living 30 miles apart and neither one of us having a driver's license but we made it work. While we dated we had some good times. We went to the old Tiger stadium to watch the Yankees play the Tigers. I'm pretty sure that the Yankees won that game. Wasn't real excited that the Yankees won but I had fun at the game. Another awesome event that we went to together was The Smashing Pumpkins at the Gund Arena in Cleveland. Before the show she decided to put some blue mascara in my goatee. I wasn't sure about it but what the hell. She wanted to do it so it was cool. That was a great show. Garbage opened for them. I wasn't really into Garbage but Shirley Manson is kind of hot so I had something to look at while ignoring the words of their songs. After dating for a few months we decided to go our separate ways. We ran into each other in different locations throughout the remainder of our high school careers. Most of them were down at Cups in downtown Erie. Too bad that place isn't around anymore. But anyway getting back to the topic. After High School we hadn't seen each other or talked to each other for about 10 years or so. That was until the other night when I was playing on Facebook and decided to look her up. I wasn't really sure if I should contact her or not. Didn't know if she would want to talk to me after so much time but I figured I'd give it a shot. So after that we've been talking for the past couple days and she decided to cash in on me re-entering into my quest for love on Facebook. She answered it pretty fast. So I had to make sure she was serious about it and it seems that we both are.

So it appears that my plan to find love on Facebook isn't really me finding love on Facebook as it is me rekindling an old flame from high school. And who says that you can't go back? I know that you can't change history but when life decides to give you a second chance there are two things you can do with it. Ignore that second chance or run with it and possibly be happy. So you know what, I decided to run with it.

Thanks for deciding to take this trip with me kids. I'm planning on taking you on pretty much the entire ride from beginning to end. Hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it. Thank you again.
